We sailed from Clear Lake to here, well, we motored from clear lake to here. Arriving is kinda crazy. The water is pretty shallow, the markers are only on one side of the entrance and you have to travel up the river about 1/2 mile. Once in the river, then it gets deeper, say 6 feet deep. The slips are up around the corner on the left past the cranes. You can anchor up the east Bayou, but we did not go that way. The restaurant, Hurricanes, is right next to the slips just a walk through the park. Plan carefully, the restaurant is only open a few days a week. Good place for a sleep over. They do have a small store, not sure what was inside. I'm sure you can get fishing tackle and beer there.
