Bald Head Island, NC

We spent the night at Bald Head Island at the Marina.  This is really the only safe way to stay here unless you can anchor outside in settled weather.  The marina wasn't cheap, but it had to be done.  We rented a $75 golf cart and toured every street of that island.  Unfortunately when you finally make it all the way to the end of the island, you cannot go into the bar/restaurant.  It's for members only.  Nevertheless we did travel every road they had and then went back to the marina bar where we met some friends.

Wrightsville Beach, NC

Stayed at anchor in Wrightsville Beach for a few nights.  It's a bit touristy and a bit bouncy during the weekend.  It did rain one day.

New York City with friends from IBM

We are driving up to Boston and passing through New York City.  On our way through we stopped off and visited Ricardo from IBM who recently moved to New York.  When we met up with him he seemed to be well acquainted with the bar seen.  The next day we met up with Ricardo again as well as Juan and his family.  It was great seeing them again and hope to do it again.

Montauk Lighthouse, NY

After leaving our friends in New York City, we proceeded to drive up Long Island.  The drive is quite nice.  Very posh neighborhood of The Hamptons.  Our 2001 Volvo looked a bit out of place.  Continuing further up to the north end is a lighthouse.  It is now a park, a quite expensive park I might add.  We didn't go up the lighthouse because it was more than we were willing to spend.  Parking alone was $20.   The iced tea was $5. But the view was priceless.  You can see I believe it's CT.

We spent an hour there walking around and then traveled west, and a bit south across many ferries to the mainland.  That was a very nice trip as well.

Baltimore with SeaLife

On our way up the east coast via our 2001 Volvo we stopped at another friend we met along the way.   Sea Life.  Scott and Caroline.  What a great time was had.  Hanging out with these 2 is never a dull moment.  I am happy we met up again and can't wait to do it again.

The Airbnb we stayed at was quite unique.  This place was right downtown Baltimore in a warehouse type place.   The guy was a musician and his place fit the part.  He was playing when we arrived and didn't bother to get up, we just walked in.  He was happy to have us and showed us around the area.  We did meet up again that night when we happen to all come home at the same time...around 2am.  Fun was had by all.
